Local markets
On lake Como we have different local markets. Usually every village has is own at least every once per month. Its nice to have a walk through them because you can breath the way locals live and discover new products. In Bellagio we have a market located between the center and the garden of Villa Melzi. It is every third Wednesday of each month. Once seen this you could decide to get a ferry and go on the other sides of the lake to check another local market.
Excursions
One of the many positive thing of lake Como is that you can choose if to live the lake or the mountains. These two aspects are relateted thanks to the many walks we have. Some starts directly from the villages till the top of the mountains. We have difficult ones but also flat walks you can do even with kids. If you are on lake Como it is a must to have a boat trip at least ones. You can choose private boat trips but also a ride on a ferry with or without car to reach the other sides of the lake.
