Summer Solstice in Villa Carlotta on Lake Como
On the summer solstice night admire the summer night sky in the shortest night of the year in a magnificent location!
Villa Carlotta is immerse in a great garden on a hill above Lake Como. Few lights and a lot of nature around you.
The perfect place to be thankfull and admire the sky!
A Group of amateurs astronomers will show you the secrets of the sky above us! On the 22 June 2018 from 18.00 to 23.00
Program:
6pm – walking around the villa park, discovering the San Giovanni herbs and its simbolism.
7.30 pm – pic nic in the olive grove (not included in the price).
8.45 – demonstrationa and tasting with the maître chocolatier Stefano Franzi discovering world secrets of pastry with spontanues herbs.
10 pm – instroduction at astronomy with astrophysicist Corrado Lamberti.
10.30 pm – watching at the night sky with Gruppo Astrofili Brianza. We will admire the sky in this short summer soltice night enjoying the marvellous cosmo.
